Bayside Distributors commenced in July 1990 with Paul Lovell being the sole trader. Since then business has expanded rapidly due to excellent trade contacts, reliable distribution and professional staff and sales representatives. We have solid financial backing and strong relationships with product suppliers and customers alike.
Business Background
Bayside Distributors are a Tasmanian wide wholesale food distributor, including brokerage sales and merchandising functions to Major Supermarkets (Woolworths and Coles), Delicatessens, Hotels, Independent Supermarkets, Schools, Takeaways, Bottle-shops, Tourist outlets Restaurants and Government Departments. In fact, all customers with the food chain are potential customers.
The Vision
That Bayside Distributors and Tamar Fresh Foods will still be operating a successful, market leading and respected food distribution business in 2015.
This will be a combined effort encompassing customers, suppliers, staff and management focusing on the following areas:

Staff
Bayside Distributors has approximately 10 staff and five refrigerated trucks servicing Southern Tasmania on a daily basis.
Tamar Fresh Foods
Tamar Fresh Foods is a satellite business run in Launceston by the same Management group. This enables Bayside/Tamar to cover chilled distribution opportunities statewide.
